Definitely Not Lukewarm! The Summit Speaker 1 on 1 Interview Series–Deanna Bartalini

Deanna Bartalini is an author, speaker and pastoral minister who was served as one of the discussion panels of the Say Yes to Holiness Transformation Online Summit held May 19-22, 2020.

In this special episode of the Say Yes to Holiness podcast, which is part of the Summit Speaker 1 on 1 Interview Series, Christina and Deanna continue the conversation begun during the Say Yes Summit and highlight Deanna’s efforts to give people what they need to live a life of abundance. For Deanna, she shared that it’s about sharing the truth, beauty and goodness of our faith and how God has worked in and through her.

To help accomplish that goal, she created An Every Day Catholic, a community that will Inform, Engage & Inspire people to live out the life as God is calling.

Her current effort involves a new book study that will be delving deeply into Brandon Vogt’s What To Say And How To Say It. This small group will be launching on June 8th, and will consist of weekly Zoom calls, and in-depth conversations about Brandon’s book. If you are interested, please make sure to reach out to Deanna through her website.

Deanna has served in parish ministry in both paid and volunteer positions for over 35 years in religious education, youth ministry, stewardship, liturgical ministries and received her Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry at the encouragement of a priest that she meant while part of the Diocese of Palm Beach School of Christian Formation.

Deanna has also written a Bible study, Invite the Holy Spirit into Your Life: Growing in Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control, that was published by Our Sunday Visitor, and also writes for Catechist Magazine and was a contributor to The Catholic Mom’s Prayer Companion. She still writes for Catholic Mom and Amazing Catechists and New Evangelizers blogs.

Deanna’s work is similar to mine at Say Yes to Holiness in that she also seeks to share what God has given here and to encurage people to live the life God desires for them.

I pray that you find this conversation with Deanna as illuminating and fascinating as I did, and I hope it inspires you to reach out and learn more about your faith and to SAY YES to share what God has given you with others.
