Your Time To Fly Is Now!–1 on 1 Summit Interview–Ruth Pierce

In the wake of the Say Yes to Holiness Transformation Online Summit that happened in May, I had the opportunity to do a series of 1 on 1 with many of the speakers who had been a part of the different speaker panels. Due to COVID, I got behind in publishing those podcasts and YouTube videos, but am seeking to correct that by sharing those now.

Of particular enjoyment for me was the 1 on 1 Summit Interview I had with Ruth Pierce–author, coach, speaker and owner of Ruth Pierce Consulting.

Ruth guides professionals to develop their mental, spiritual, and emotional core through clarifying their story, what is holding them back, and their potential so they can soar in their relationships and career.

She firmly believes that just as developing your physical core provides new life and possibilities to your entire body; developing your emotional, mental and spiritual core using her unique coaching tools breathes new possibilities into relationships and careers, too.

In this special episode of the Say Yes to Holiness podcast, Christina and Ruth continue the conversation begun during the Say Yes Summit and highlight Ruth’s work to help people overcome their negative thoughts and ideas like “I will always be stuck in the same job,” “My relationships always fail.” or answer the questions that plague so many people like, “Why can’t I have better relationships with my spouse, family members, or friends?” or “Why can’t I get a decent job that provides for my family that I like?”

Through Ruth’s process of coaching (more information can be found at ruthpierce.com), Ruth seeks to help people be able to: find their true selves and start on the path to having fulfilling relationships and career; identify and eliminate core behaviors that are holding them back; align your potential, priorities, and passions for more fulfilling success; and develop your emotional, mental, and spiritual cores so it is possible to soar in relationships and career.

All of what Ruth does now resulted from her own journey. Years ago, she found herself stagnating. Certain behaviors were keeping her stuck. She did not realize how equally important the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects were both in breaking free and in creating a safe environment for growth that helped her learn to fly. But today is a different story. Today she is soaring toward her potential. And she has shared all of what she lerned along the way in her book, Time to Fly: Breaking Free from Stuck Behaviors and Soaring towards an All-Around Healthier You

The book outlines how by using the four areas of physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional as a backdrop, there are eight steps to pursue in order to get unstuck and create an environment that is conducive for personal and professional growth. The areas the book addresses are: developing a deep sense of self-awareness for how you may be; using unhealthy ways to find love and acceptance; perceiving problems in an unhealthy manner; allowing unprocessed pain to lead to unresolved root issues; taking your growth to new heights by discovering how to develop assertive and interdependent relationships; making deposits, not withdrawals, in all areas of your life; and taking calculated risks to help you reach your goals.

Ruth and my ministry at Say Yes to Holiness intersects in both of our using assessments and other coaching tools to help people grow in awareness of what issues need to be addressed to make progress. For me it’s focused upon the spiritual life and belief in yourself as a beloved son or daughter of God and that you are enough. For Ruth, it’s about ensuring individuals and organizations’ can fully develop their potential and find both personal and professional success in life.

I pray that you find this conversation with Ruth to be both a stimulating and inspiring one, and that it encourages and empowers you to embrace the idea that your time to fly is now so you can break free from whatever might be preventing you from becoming a healthier you.
