Raising Saints To Hear God’s Voice–Alexandra Sullivan–1 on 1 Post Summit Interview

One of the Say Yes to Holiness Summit panelists who participated in this spring’s Say Yes to Holiness Tranformation Online Summit was Alexandra Sullivan. Alexandra is a wife, mother of three and co-host of the podcast, “Raising Saints to Hear God’s Voice.”

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Visual Arts from the College of the Holy Cross, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Photography from New York University.

In this special episode of the Say Yes to Holiness podcast, Christina and Alexandra continue the conversation begun during the Say Yes Summit, sharing about how her family, community and parish are handling the challenges of COVID, but also about the work that Alexandra does on her blog.

Alexandra’s blog, Transform Our Hearts, shares her own Catholic faith story in the hope of inspiring others to a deeper relationship with Christ. In this way, Alexandra and my work at Say Yes to Holiness intersect as I attempt to do similarly through my own writing.

Another similarity between our ministries is that each of us is involved in podcasting. Alexandra co-hosts the Raising Saints podcast with Fr. Michael Connolly who is the Parochial Vicar of the Church of St. Columba in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. The Raising Saints podcast came about from the practice of Fr Michael going into the parish school classrooms and doing Q & A with the children. From those Q & A sessions came a desire by others in the community to be able to benefit from those sessions, so the podcast was born!

What was discovered during the Q & A sessions is that kids have the most beautiful insights into the Catholic faith, but sometimes their questions are difficult to answer. On Raising Saints, Fr Michael and Alexandra do their best to answer kids’ questions on God, the Church, the faith, and more!

Currently, the podcast is on hiatus for the summer, but there are two seasons of episodes that you can catch up on!

So, I invite you to enter into this conversation with Alexandra and I pray that it encourages you to have hope for the work being done in the vineyard to raising the next generation of saints!
