A life of saying yes — one step at a time
I am an author, speaker, coach, and spiritual mentor who seeks to inspire, encourage, and accompany others through writing, speaking, and coaching to live a life of purpose, peace, and abundance in the pursuit of holiness.
My journey has taken some unexpected turns — from US Army officer and veteran of the First Gulf War, to high school history teacher, to nonprofit director of youth multisport events, to defense contracting facility security officer, to Catholic ministry leader and spiritual mentor. Through all of it, the thread has been the same: helping people discover who God created them to be and say yes to that calling.
Since my conversion to Roman Catholicism over thirty years ago, I have served in religious education, Confirmation preparation, youth ministry, RCIA, adult faith formation, and spirituality — including five years as Director of Adult Education and Spirituality at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison, Alabama and five years as Coordinator of Parish Ministries at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Fort Payne, Alabama
I hold a Certification in Spiritual Mentorship from the Holy Family School of Faith, and I am now studying to become an Ignatian spiritual director through the Ignatian Jesuit Centre in London to accompany anyone who desires to undergo the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. I also have certifications as an MCODE practitioner, Charisms Trainer, and Unhackable Performance Coach.
Finally, I live out my most important vocation as a disciple of Christ and mother as a promised Family member of the Apostles of Interior Life.

US Army officer for 14 years including active duty in Germany and combat service during the First Gulf War.

Certified to help individuals discover their God-given motivational wiring and charisms to empower them to live out their unique and unrepeatable calling.

5 years as Director of Adult Education and Spirituality and 5 years as Coordinator of Parish Ministries.

When I’m not writing, coaching, or recording, you’ll find me hiking, running, or cycling — or curled up with a good book. I read everything from Tom Clancy thrillers to fantasy epics (yes, including Harry Potter and Star Wars). I love movies, great television, and finding the deeper spiritual themes in popular culture.
I’m a promised Family member of the Apostles of Interior Life, a Former Cursillo Regional Service Team member, and someone who has organized pilgrimages to the March for Life and the World Meeting of Families. Faith isn’t a part of my life — it is my life.
