I was reading a beautiful article by Bishop Robert Barron that described one of the key ideas of the spirituality of St Ignatius of Loyola and it is also an underlying principle and part of the rationale for why I created and made my own First Things First online course (you can check out a description of the course here).
In the midst of life, I have found that it is the ability to have “eyes to see and ears to hear” how all the people, events and circumstances in my life are interconnected, in addition to seeing and hearing how God is working for my good in all those same people, events and circumstances has been the key to my finding purpose and meaning as well as experiencing peace and abundance regardless of my life’s circumstances.
And this is the essence of what it means to find God in all things.
Enjoy Bishop Barron’s article, and if you are so inclined, also go and check out First Things First.
It just may be exactly what you need in order to find God in all things in addition to purpose and meaning as well as a little more peace and abundance in your life.
See you on the Way soon!
