So, you might be asking, why stuff from Ascension Press and even more, why is all this stuff about Scripture? Well, remember how the 5 golden rings given on the 5th day of Christmas actually correlate with the “hidden meaning” of the Pentateuch, the first 5 books of the Bible? So, no better time than now to dive into Scripture more deeply!
And why Ascension? Because of out of all of their great resources, the Great Adventure Bible Timeline has probably impacted more Catholics in the last 20 years than any other teaching out there. At least I know it definitely did that for me–especially in my learning about the great covenants (God’s promises to His people) that are present throughout salvation history and are spoken about in Sacred Scripture!
So, even if you know about all of what I just shared, it’s ALWAYS a good practice to dive deep into God’s Living Word and read, reflect, relate about it with God, so you can resolve to go and live it out in your life, and this is exactly what Say Yes to Holiness is all about–helping inspire, encourage and accompany you on the road to holiness.
I continue to pray that these gifts will help you grow closer to God and become more like Jesus throughout this wondrous Christmas season, and can’t wait to share with you tomorrow the gifts I found for you!
