We are now more than halfway through our Lenten journey, and although we still have a fair piece of journeying ahead of us until we reach Easter morning, Laetare Sunday should have given us the briefest of glimpses of the sun arising, so, hopefully, our hope in the idea of reaching the end of our Lenten journey has been strengthened by its glimpse–despite the hard slogging still ahead.
