Why Do You NEED To Receive The Eucharist?–Connections Between Faith and Daily Life YouTube Video

We are in the Fifth Week of the Easter Season, and during the last several weeks, the liturgical readings have revolved around the Gospel of John, Chapter 6. This chapter depicts many of Jesus’ miraculous signs that point to and give witness to His divine nature, and also shares the first of seven ”I AM” statements found in this Gospel. Watch here:

Additionally, it is within John Chapter 6 that Jesus gives what is known as the “Bread of Life” discourse where He explains that He is the the Bread come down from Heaven, and that it is only when we “eat His flesh and drink His Blood” that we will have eternal life. So, in this the Connections Between Faith and Daily Life YouTube series, we share the why each of us NEEDS to receive the Eucharist in order to live the Resurrection life.
