My Book is Now Available on Kindle!

It’s been a long time coming, but my book, Say Yes: Discovering Purpose, Peace and Abundance in Daily Life was just released as a Kindle book today on Amazon! Happy Feast of Or Lady of Carmel! Just so you are aware, the Kindle version is advertised as a “Bilingual English and Spanish edition” and “Spanish edition”. All this means is that the Kindle book (and eventually the print copy) will automatically include the Spanish version as well as the English version. Amazon has no way to advertise a blingual book, so they had to create the category for me! But […]

Encountering Christ and Being Transformed–Dianne Davis of ChristLife–1 on 1 Summit Interview

One of the panelists who participated in this spring’s Say Yes to Holiness Tranformation Online Summit was Dianne Davis. Dianne is Director of Mission Expansion for ChristLife. In this special episode of the Say Yes to Holiness podcast, Christina and Dianne continue the conversation begun during the Say Yes Summit as they discuss Dianne’s work as part of the ChristLife team that is working to help people have an encounter with Christ, and then accompany them as they learn how to deepen that encounter and eventually share it with others. ChristLife’s story began with Dave Nodar, a Catholic layman, who […]

5 Steps to Finding Joy—Even When You Have COVID!

Since I can’t go Live on my YouTube Channel yet (still need like another 970 subscribers or something like that! LOL), I recorded a YouTube video for all of you out there instead! I know it’ might not be as good as a Live video, but hopefully you will still find it to be of help in inspiring, encouraging and accompanying you on the journey towards holiness! 5 Steps to Finding Joy–Even When You Have COVID! Christina Semmens is a Roman Catholic author, speaker, and coach and host of the Say Yes to Holiness podcast. She currently lives in Fort […]

Your Time To Fly Is Now!–1 on 1 Summit Interview–Ruth Pierce

In the wake of the Say Yes to Holiness Transformation Online Summit that happened in May, I had the opportunity to do a series of 1 on 1 with many of the speakers who had been a part of the different speaker panels. Due to COVID, I got behind in publishing those podcasts and YouTube videos, but am seeking to correct that by sharing those now. Of particular enjoyment for me was the 1 on 1 Summit Interview I had with Ruth Pierce–author, coach, speaker and owner of Ruth Pierce Consulting. Ruth guides professionals to develop their mental, spiritual, and […]

Surviving COVID and Trusting God’s Plan, Not Mine!

Hey, Everyone. In case you missed it, just wanted to share this short video I did yesterday afternoon on Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. I shared a bit about my COVID experience along with an insight or two I learned during this last three weeks, as well as expressed my enormous gratitude for all of your support and prayers throughout this experience. So if you are on Facebook, check it out here If you aren’t able to watch because you either are not on Facebook or because you are intentionally not using Facebook so they can’t target you with information and […]

Measuring Up: How to WIN in a World of Comparison–Renee Vidor–1 on 1 Podcast Interview

Several weeks ago, and just before I became sick with COVID, I spent time with Renee Vidor talking with her about her soon to be released book, Measuring Up: How to WIN in a World of Comparison. Subsequently, Renee’s book has been released and now available worldwide, so I wanted to share this insightful interview with all of you within the Say Yes to Holiness community. Renee’s book, Measuring Up: How to WIN in a World of Comparison, was born from Renee’s experience of walking down the Vegas strip on vacation, and feeling inferior to every stranger walking by. Her […]

Hamilton, The Founding Fathers And The Journey Towards Holiness—Episode 28 (.2!) of the Say Yes to Holiness Podcast

Gotta love how God keeps you humble! I just completed my latest Say Yes to Holiness podcast episode and realized after I published it that I had done another Episode 28! LOL Needless to say, this Episode 28 is most definitely different as I delve back into my love of history and intertwine some lessons for the journey towards holiness into this week’s conversation that has been inspired by the recent release of the Broadway play musical, turned movie, Hamilton: An American Musical. I hope my musings and the Hamilton inspired conversation helps encourage you on the journey towards holiness, […]

“History Has Its Eyes On You”–Hamilton-Inspired Observations For the Journey Towards Holiness

One positive of still recovering from COVID was the opportunity to watch the Broadway play, now turned movie, Hamilton: An American Musical, at two different points over the holiday weekend. I first had the privilege two summers ago in Atlanta when the Broadway show went on the road, and just like when I experienced it live, the movie of the taped musical was just as powerful. For those of you who might have missed all the theatrical hubbub over the last four years, Hamilton tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Wikipedia adds that the play was inspired by the […]

“You’re Only As Happy As Your Most Unhappy Child”–Steve Markel & Families of Character

Last month before I became sick I was able to have a most wonderful conversation with the great people at Families of Character, an organization committed to providing families the best tools to make home the most loving and unified place for children to grow. The goal is for them to understand that even if their family life feels off course or divided, change is always possible. As we prepare to head into the Fourth of July weekend–one of the most family focused holidays of our country, I thought this would be a wonderful time to share this episode with […]
